Account and data deletion

Delete your Chargespot account

This permanently removes your Chargespot product profile and revokes Chargespot access. It does not delete your shared Charge23 Accounts identity, passkeys, organization memberships, or access to unrelated Charge23 products.

Recommended

Delete in the Chargespot app

  1. Sign in to Chargespot.
  2. Open Profile and scroll to Account.
  3. Select Delete account and review the disclosure.
  4. Confirm deletion.

Your Chargespot authorization is cut off first. Cleanup then runs as a retryable process, so a temporary vendor or service outage cannot silently leave a partially active account.

What happens next

Access is revoked before data is detached

Tokens issued before the deletion cutoff cannot recreate your profile. If you later choose to use Chargespot again, you must explicitly authorize Chargespot and a genuinely new product profile will be created.

Request by email

If you cannot use the app, enter at least one identifier from your Chargespot profile. This form opens your email app; it does not send or store these details on this website.

Send the prepared message from an address you can access. We verify account ownership before starting deletion and will never ask for your password, one-time code, passkey, or access token.

Data deleted

  • Your Chargespot profile, addresses, saved stations, trips, routes, support content, reviews, check-ins, and uploaded check-in images.
  • Vehicle registration and provider-derived vehicle details, vehicle preferences, OBD bindings, telemetry, learned profiles, and precise location history.
  • Push-notification subscriptions, home-charger details, linked charging-provider credentials, and linked-wallet credentials.

Data retained in de-identified form

  • Charging-session, payment, refund, wallet, and financial-ledger records that must be kept for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, dispute, or accounting purposes.
  • Minimal deletion and security audit records needed to prove the request was completed and prevent an old token from restoring the deleted profile.

Retained records use a non-personal tombstone instead of a live identity reference. Personal free-form fields are removed. See our privacy policy for the full retention explanation.
